Thank you to Green Mountain Energy and Sun Club!
On March 18th, Green Mountain Energy’s Sun Club program presented a certificate to the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, Strawberry Mansion High School, and EPRA for $40,000 worth of green energy for our new Green Resource Center. This gift will allow our soon-to-be-built greenhouse, hoophouse, and wash station to use solar energy, allowing us to demonstrate sustainability and promote alternative energy. Check back for more updates as we build out the Green Resource Center this season!

The Eagles Visit our Ridge Avenue Garden
On November 3rd, seven members of the Philadelphia Eagles football team visited our Ridge Avenue Community Garden and Green Resource Center through a partnership with PHS. The Eagles planted fruit trees in front of Strawberry Mansion High School, toured the garden, and sampled snacks prepared with garden produce by Stawberry Mansion High School’s culinary arts students.
